About the Journal
As an institution, our long-standing aspiration has been to delve into the realm of research publications. We take great pride in leading among the private institutions in our province, and in January 2021, we successfully launched our bi-annual journal, titled "Journal of Gandhara Nursing and Allied Health Sciences" (JGNAHS). This esteemed publication holds both print and online ISSN, and the process of obtaining necessary approvals and permissions from the Ministry of Information and our printers has been invigorating.
At JGNAHS, we recognize the utmost importance of providing nursing and allied health professionals with knowledge that is independent, unbiased, evidence-based, and transparent. Our primary objective is to ensure that this knowledge is readily available for review and that it empowers doctors in making well-informed decisions for their patients' welfare.
While we have traditionally relied on print journals, we have now embraced the digital era and expanded to online publications, allowing us to share experiences and research findings more effectively. We acknowledge that medical journals have often faced challenges in maintaining their relevance amidst the ever-changing spectrum of the healthcare landscape. Therefore, in this era of scientific development, we are committed to standardizing research work through meticulous and stringent peer review processes.
The team at JGNAHS is unwavering in its dedication to achieving the highest standards in research publication. This marks just the beginning of our journey, and we wholeheartedly look forward to and warmly welcome the active participation of domestic and international experts in contributing to the production of our journal.
Together, we will advance the fields of nursing, midwifery, public health, and other allied health sciences, making a significant impact on healthcare practices, both at home and on a global scale.
